Project LIFE with ISPRA among the best LIFE+ project of 2013

Awarded as one of the best in Europe SEDI.PORT.SIL project, a LIFE project with ISPRA partner. This project has received by the EU Commission the award as one of the 21 projects to win the Best LIFE Projects 2013 to have achieved excellent results from the scientific point of view and, having highlighted the innovative aspects of the actions developed.

ISPRA is then invited to the awards ceremony to be held in Brussels on 4 June , in conjunction with the "Green Week - Circular economy - saving resources , creating jobs " , the main annual conference on European environment policy .

Within the context of SEDI.PORT.SIL project ISPRA has been responsible for an action that was intended to developed a detailed analysis of the legislative and authorization in management and recovery of harbor sediments, and an analysis of the available technologies for the treatment of sediments and for the extraction of silicon .
