ISPRA researchers study the first case of infanticide genetically documented in brown bears
Italian scientists have used forensic technology to analyze the first case of infanticide genetically documented in brown bears. A research that allowed to understand the responsible for the death of a female and her two puppies in Trentino, where a small population of bears has been reintroduced and genetically monitored for 20 years. The study, carried out by researchers of ISPRA, is published in Nature Conservation’.
