The event will be held the 22 april, day in which is celebrated the Earth World Day. 
After more than a year from the pandemic and the world crisis of important sector of like tourism and culture, the online event aims to contribute to the enhancement and sustainability of territories, biodiversity and cultural diversity as a heritage of our planet.

Say Make Sustainable

On the occasion of World Earth Day, Unisona, in cooperation on with Keaton, promotes the meeting "Say Make Sustainable". The initiative of 22 April will have the involvement of ASviS, the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development, an organization founded in 2016 to raise awareness of the importance of the 2030 Agenda and to promote best practices for the Italian society and the cultural and economic institutions involved in the process of sustainability.

On April 7, the "Fourth Report on the state of natural capital in Italy" was presented by videoconference, in the presence of the Minister for Ecological Transition Roberto Cingolani, which, after the approval, it will be sent to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy. The plenary meeting of the Committee for natural capital was attended by among others, in addition to the director general of the Mite for the naturalistic heritage Antonio Maturani, the Minister of Infrastructures and Sustainable Mobility Enrico Giovannini, the Minister of Agricultural Policies Stefano Patuanelli, the Minister of Tourism Massimo Garavaglia, the Deputy Minister of Economy Laura Castelli, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor Rossella Accoto, the Undersecretary of the South Dalila Nesci and the president of ISPRA Stefano Laporta.

Testing the effectiveness of the NAP measures for the biodiversity protection

The results of the project funded by the MATTM and carried out in cooperation with ARPA Lazio (year 2015-2016), ARPA Piemonte (year 2015, 2018-2020), University of Rome Tor Vergata will be presented during a conference on 16 and 17 December 2020. Biophysical and economic assessment of four ecosystem services for natural capital accounting in Italy

A group of scientists from ISPRA, the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) and Ikerbasque have demonstrated the feasibility of moving towards a widespread application of SEEA-EEA – the accepted international standard for environmental-economic accounting – compliant country-based accounts.

This work represents one of the first studies made available at such geographical scope using k.LAB, the technology powering ARIES, which is poised to automate accounting routines for producers of natural capital accounts.

Ceremony of the EMAS Ecolabel 2020 Award

The Ecolabel and Ecoaudit Committee and ISPRA, also in this year very difficult aims to give recognition and visibility to certified organizations by rewarding those that have best interpreted and applied the principles of the EMAS scheme and the EU Ecolabel.
The awards ceremony will take place on November 24 in live streaming with the participation of the Minister of the Environment, Land and of Sea, General Sergio Costa.

General States of Urban Green - VI edition

General states of urban green is an event promoted by the Committee for the development of public green set up at the Italian Minister of Environment, Land and Sea under the law 10/2013. Now in its sixth edition, the General States is an opportunity to analyze with the protagonists of politics, science, economics, arts, law, and other social sciences the role of green in the cities.

The central event will take place on 23 November on a day divided into four sessions organized by the Committee for the development of public green spaces, which will be attended by representatives of public institutions and the private world. The ISPRA President Stefano Laporta is participating in the first sesssion.

“Third issue of the SoED report since 2005 and very little has changed in the Mediterranean” the Plan Bleu states

Despite the actions taken by the Barcelona Convention over more than 40 years, the future of the Mediterranean is at a critical point. Damage to ecosystems that can compromise human well-being risks becoming irreversible. ISPRA, as the INFO / RAC Centre of UNEP MAP (Mediterranean Action Plan), focuses on the State of the Environment and Development in the Mediterranean (SoED) published by Plan Bleu and UNEP / MAP.

The environmental dimension in the mediterranean diet as a model of sustainable feeding

On November 16 the Mediterranean Diet will celebrate 10 years of recognition as a cultural heritage by UNESCO. To celebrate this anniversary, the Ministry of the Environment together with the Italian National Commission for Unesco, has planned a calendar of activities that will be presented on the same day at 9.30 coordinated by the journalist Donatella Bianchi and with a debate between Ministers and members of the academy word. Presentation of the Report 2020 on the environmental performance of cities

How to restart after a global emergency? It will be necessary to plan courageously towards a more sustainable and smart future, using the Recovery Plan to launch a true Green New Deal made in Italy. Cities and Mayors are the main actor of this change. These are the topics of the 27th edition of Ecosistema Urbano, the annual report by Legambiente on the environmental livability of the provincial municipalities, edited in cooperation with Ambiente Italia and Il Sole 24 ore.

Ecomondo 2020

Ecomondo is one of the most leading event in Europe for the new models of circular economy. An international exhibition with an innovative format that brings together all sectors of the circular economy in a single platform: from material and energy recovery to sustainable development. Due to the health emergency, Ecomondo will be held on the digital platform, extending the appointment to two weeks: the double digital green week.
To facilitate the meeting between supply and demand, the platform will be active until November 15: two weeks of B2B meetings, networking and seminars, where the green economy community will be able to create global relationships within a virtual app.
From Tuesday 3 November it is possible to participate in all the events of the schedule until 11.59 pm on November 15.

The application of SSAM (Spatial Sustainable Assessment Model) in the local planning for sustainable development

The landscape as a driving force for the development of a different society twenty years after the European Landscape Convention

The event , after20 years after the European Landscape Convention, aims to analyze the reflections of sector experts. Agreement signed between ISPRA and Union Energy for Mobility-unem

Ispra and Unem have signed an agreement of cooperation to promote environmental sustainability and technology innovation in the sector of remediation and ecosystem requalification. 
The collaborative activities will take place with the exchange of SNPA experiences and the oil sector for environmental sustainability, the joint experimentation in the field of new sampling or sustainable remediation technologies and common training activities on environmental protection.
