The Geosciences IR Research Infrastructure - Shared geology at the service of all
The side event "The Geosciences IR Research Infrastructure - Shared geology at the service of all" will be held on 17 November 2023, as part of the Earth Technology Expo event.
The PNRR GeoSciences IR project aims to create a research infrastructure designed to meet the needs of the Regional Geological Services, i.e. the technical structures responsible for geology at a regional level. >Exactly 16 partners coordinated by ISPRA will participate in the project

The GeoSciences IR infrastructure will remain operational and updated for at least 10 years beyond the end of the project, and will therefore be an important point of reference in the field of Earth sciences for the next few years. In fact, through the infrastructure, everyone will be able to access data and services in an open and interoperable format, innovative applications for the acquisition of geological data on the ground and training modules on specific topics.
