REACH substances registration with deadline 2018 : support to the enterprises
All chemical substances produced or imported in the European Economic Area, in a range between 1 and 100 tons per year, must be registered by 31 May 2018 at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). This is the deadline registration set by the EC Regulation n. 1907/2006 for existing chemicals. A law requirement for companies that will allow to collect of huge amounts of data concerning substances manufactured or used in Europe, improving human health and the environment . The ECHA has simplified the process in 7 steps. Each of these steps is described, with key suggestions, as well as links to other useful documents on the website of ECHA (REACH 2018). In the whole of the activities conducted at national level, the Ministry of Economic Development support enterprises for the obligations provided by REACH.
