On November 13th in Rome, in the Conference Room of the Environmental and Agri-Food Forestry Unit of the Carabinieri (CUFA), a conference will be held promoted by ISPRA, "Twenty years of molecular biology in support of the Washington Convention".

The event aims to celebrate the twenty years of ISPRA biomolecular activities in support of CITES, also considering the recent anniversary of the 40th anniversary of the Washington Convention (CITES) ratification, and aims to underline the effective collaboration between MATTM, CUFA and ISPRA for the application of the Convention in Italy.

On this occasion, the CITES Sampling Manual recently developed by the BIO-CGE area of ISPRA will be presented as part of the school-work project with the Ettore Majorana High School in San Lazzaro di Savena (BO).

The final program of the day will be published shortly.

Registration for the event is limited and any additional places available will be announced after 9 November 2019.
