National conference on climate 2000: a roadmap for Italy
The National Climate Conference, to be held from 13 to 16 October, is the most important event of the year of Italy for climate, an initiative promoted by Sustainable Development Foundation and by a group of companies in preparation of COP26, with the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment, ENEA and ISPRA, in collaboration with Regeneration 20 | 30, with the partnership of ANSA and with the support of SapereAmbiente, aims to become a reference event on the performance of Italy related to climate objectives.

The central topic of the 2020 edition of the Conference will be the proposal to adopt the Roadmap for the climate that will be defined through the Recovery plan, following the indication of the European Council to allocate at least 30% of European funding to climate measures. The Roadmap is based on the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2050 and presents to revise the objectives to 2030, starting with the target on greenhouse gas emissions, which for Italy must reach at least 55%, in line with the European process that plans to update the 2030 target.
The National Conference is divided into two sessions and will take place in live streaming mode
