New video of the LIFE Lagoon Refresh project
The involvement of the stakeholders in the LIFE Lagoon Refresh project
The LIFE Lagoon Refresh foresees, among Conservation actions of the project, the transplant of reeds and aquatic phanerogams in the Northern Lagoon of Venice. Transplant actions involve hunters, fishermen, and stakeholders who spend their lifetime in the Lagoon. They were trained with theory and practise by researchers of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and ISPRA.
Due to the coronavirus emergency, both the training courses and the transplants delayed. In April 2021, it was possible to start again with transplant actions and we are now trying to catch up.
