This eagle is called the "queen of the Mediterranean forests" and soon, thanks to a European project of which ISPRA is a partner, it will restart flying in the skies of the island from where it had disappeared. Next May 25 there will be a meeting with local citizens with the aim the present the project. "Benne torrata Abila aglia" is the title of the meeting organized by ISPRA at the Regional Park Tepilora in the province of Nuoro. Experts of wildlife, of the Sardegna region and of the Forestas Agency will meet the population to explain the phases of the reintroduction of the species.
