The targets of ReMi

Among the general objectives of the ReMi National Network:

• promote throughout the country the themes of conservation, protection and enhancement of the abandoned mining heritage, mutual knowledge, the dissemination of information and the promotion of individual initiatives and proposals by the museum sites;
• organize a program of meetings throughout the country in which to discuss common areas, projects, objectives and tools to put in place for the enhancement of sites;
• reach the definition of a reference legislation, in agreement with the Regions,
• support all initiatives to promote the inclusion of Italian mining parks in international networks and organizations that work to enhance the mining industrial heritage for the purpose of developing "responsible" tourism.
