The ReMi Tourist Passport

The "REMI tourist passport" is part of the objectives of the REMI network, aimed at promoting the themes of conservation, protection and enhancement of the abandoned mining heritage.

It aims to encourage interest in the knowledge of the area and create opportunities to spread culture and tourism on the issues of abandoned mining heritage.

A special passport that will serve to witness the passage through the mining sites belonging to the REMI as a certified travel memory and to stimulate the attention of citizens regarding the different realities present in the area.

What is it?
It is a personalized "tourist passport". Designed with the aim of developing attention and disseminating information by stimulating the promotion of other proposals by museum sites.

Why?
The "REMI Tourist Passport" is part of the objectives of the REMI network which pertain to the theme of communication;

It is aimed at promoting the sites belonging to ReMi for the maximum dissemination of the themes of conservation, protection and enhancement of the abandoned mining heritage.

How does it work?
The tourist visitor will collect the booklet in the museums/parks/sites belonging to the network, to be "filled" with a stamp of the mining museums visited in Italy. Upon completion of the visits documented in the passport, a 'prize' will be awarded.

The prize:

  • Once the collection of 6 stamps has been completed, the visitor will be entitled to a "voucher" for free admission to one of the museums/mining sites belonging to ReMi.
  • The "voucher" will be issued by the mining site/museum that carries out the last validation of the passport.
  • ISPRA/REMI will deliver a certificate of recognition to the visitor who has completed the collection of stamps.
  • The ReMi will be happy to receive a photograph of the visitors with their stamped passports, for publication on the social channels.
