Air quality plans: analysis of new information for year 2012
The main aim of air quality plans is to set out appropriate measures aimed at guaranteeing compliance with limits established by the regulations in force, for the concentrations of main air pollutants. Information on these plans has to be communicated to the European Commission (EC) no later than two years after the end of the year the first exceedance was observed. The Decision 2011/850/EU, in force from 1st January 2014, modified the content of this information and the format for its submission.
In this study, information on air quality plans for year 2012 and submitted to EC in the period 2015-2016, is analysed.
