First study on the measures to prevent the production of urban waste adopted by local administrations

The Report presents a first study on the measures to prevent the production of urban waste adopted by local administrations to which was administered a specific questionnaire prepared by ISPRA. This questionnaire, composed of 36 questions and developed on the National Waste Prevention Plan (NWPP), took into consideration both the general / horizontal measures and the specific waste prevention measures, based on an approach focused on particular and priority waste / product streams. The aim of the study is represented not only by the need to monitor the implementation of the NWPP, but also to define new indicators based on the information acquired on the prevention measures implemented at local level.
