Special Waste Report - Edition 2010
The Special Waste Report, now in its tenth edition, is the result of a complex activity carried out by ISPRA, consisting in the collection, analysis and processing of data, which confirms the commitment of the Institute to disseminate information and knowledge relating to an important sector such us that of waste.
Through an effective and comprehensive system of knowledge on waste, ISPRA is willing to provide an accurate and up to date framework of objective information, representing the a tool to guide policies and interventions appropriate to the reality and, secondly, to monitor the effectiveness and the consequent achievement of the objectives, introducing, if necessary, corrective measures.
The Special Waste Report - 2010 Edition analyzes the production and management of special waste in the years 2007 and 2008, and also contains information on cross-border transport of waste, on the implementation of the territorial planning and on the production and management of specific waste streams such as life vehicles, asbestos and PCB waste electrical, and electronic equipment waste.
