Study for the design and realization of transparent
ISPRA has started a research project, in collaboration with the Nanotechnology Research Center of Applied to Engineering (CNIS), on the project and construction of innovative displays with high electromagnetic radio frequency screening efficiency and at the same time, a good optical transmittance in the visible range. The research has resulted in the experimental verification of the screening properties of glasses made by applying thin films made of semiconductor or metal materials, which are currently available on the market, and the creation of nanostructured multilayer special glasses. Such structures are responding to precise project specifications with regard to both the performance electromagnetic and optical transmittance. In addition, the screens can give you excellent screening performance even in against solar radiation, with positive effects in relation to energy saving and emissions reduction into the atmosphere.
