Days of Geology and History December 2021/June 2022
The volume 109 of the Descriptive Memoirs of the Geological Map of Italy collects some of the contributions presented in the second Cycle of the Days of Geology and History (Study Days for the popularization of Earth Sciences organized by ISPRA together with SIGEA and the Italian Geographical Society), particularly in the first four days held from December 2021 to June 2022. These Study Days were organized to open a focus on multidisciplinary studies involving geological and historical-archaeological topics. The topics discussed in these first four meetings of the second cycle were Ghost Cities (the abandoned villages of Italy due to natural causes), large urban areas, folk traditions and natural hazards, and historical sources in the study of climate variations.
