"Noise and quality of life" - Study Day. Florence, May 6, 2013

The definition of noise pollution, according to the L.447/95 includes "the introduction of noise in residential areas or outdoor environment that  provokes annoying or disturbing to rest and to human activities, danger to human health, deterioration of ecosystems, material goods, monuments, or outdoor environment of that interferes with the normal function of the environments themselves ".


Five years after the Day of Study on Noise Disorder, the Italian Association of Acoustics organizes in collaboration with the Municipality of Florence a new opportunity for discussion about the relationship between Noise and Quality of Life.


According the evolution of legislation on noise and their managerial and application in the fields of city management and the management of problems related to noise disturbance, Italians and international experts will discuss the issue in order to propose solutions.


The Study Day is intended for administrators, planners and technical experts in acoustics that, within organizations, government, companies, are facing problems related to acoustics and the assessment of noise that can produce and the contribution to improve the quality of life in our homes and in our cities.
