Networks and Environmental Information Systems

For the full implementation of the National Environmental Information System (SINA), ISPRA's action is essential to:

• the integration of environmental information systems, starting from the regional ones (SIRA);
• the strengthening of the connection and synergies at national level with other Bodies, Institutions, Systems (such as the MiTE and the SNPA) and with research institutes or centers of excellence, ensuring, first of all, necessarily, the proper functioning of the SINAnet Network;
• the strengthening of the comparison and exchange of data and information with other networks and centers at an international level, such as the Eionet network at the European level and the INFO / RAC regional activity center at the Mediterranean level
