Mean sea level rise in Venice: eustatism and subsidence
An update of mean sea level rise in Venice allows to highlight the steep variations observed in the last 20 years. Mean sea level can be split into two components, eustatism and subsidence. This paper compares the variations of the subsidence component using both observations at Trieste (Molo Sartorio) and Venice (Punta della Salute) tide gauges and GPS data from Venice historical centre.
