This second publication of Bookleet of forgotten fruits and recovered biodiversity, ISPRA aims to provide scientific information about the Lazio and Abruzzo case-study.

The bookleet, carried out by experts of Ispra and Arpa Emilia-Roma, is the sixth volume of a series dedicated to Italian fruit species in danger of extinction or no longer cultivated with the wish that they will come back to being produced and tasted like before.

In this frame, ISPRA plays a role in the research applied, environmental monitoring and information, providing a specific contribute to improve the actions to protect the nature.
