Systematical Mineralogical Collection (2,212 specimens)
This is composed of a group of minerals (mainly Italian) arranged in a systematical way.

Maresca Mineralogical  Collection (78 specimens)
This Collection is named after the Museum’s curator, who arranged the finds in an organical way.

Zolezzi Mineralogical Collection
This Collection was realized by L. Zolezzi, an Italian resident in Lima, who donated it to the Geological Office in 1922. It was initially composed of about 80 minerals from Perù, of which there are currently 26 specimens.

Collection of Mineral Deposits
This Collection consists of a total of 698 specimens. It includes a “Collection of combustible fossils” (323 specimens) that mainly has specimens of peat, lignite, anthracite but also oils, tars, asphalts and minerals of industrial interest such as graphite, sulphur and asbestos.

Collection of Industrial and Handicraft Samples
The Collection brings together various heterogeneous finds of the most different origins. They are, however, related by human activities for the processing of lithomineralogical raw materials. They are manufactured products or fragments of clay coming from archaeological excavations as well as handicraft pottery and by-products of the metal industry.
