In 2022 the documentary "Sea robot - The challenges of marine exploration" was realized to describe the activities carried out thanks to the use of robotics and seabed investigation tools. The documentary was screened at various festivals, including international ones, including the Ortigia Film Festival and the Belgrade International Underwater Film Festival, thus giving visibility to the Institute's activities outside strictly scientific or educational contexts. The documentary is also available in English.

A virtual tour of the oceanographic vessel Astrea was also carried out in which the various instruments used during the ISPRA oceanographic campaigns are presented, including those of marine robotics.
