Teaching units
The project was divided in 4 teaching units, held in the classroom and outside:
1) a meeting at the school (two hours), divided into a first introductive playful part, and a second part carried out by an ISPRA expert, which completed the scientific explanation of the topic in an interactive way showing slide in ppt and answering their questions and curiosity;
2) the naturalistic visit at Villa Celimontana (2 hours), during which the expert was able to add more information on biodiversity, linking them to what is possible to see, hear, touch,
During the visit was included also an educational activity and an activity of technical preparation to the test of orienteering, carried out by the instructors of FISO
3) non-competitive orienteering exercise in pairs
4) a meeting of debriefing in the classroom (2 hours), to define an assessment of the experience and allow students to develop their contribution for biodiversity
