Symbols Library

The Working Group for Computerization and Symbology (GLINT) that carries out the activities necessary for the maintenance and updating of the Geological Database (BDG) and for the evaluation of the proposals for integration and modification of the CARG Project guidelines by the contractors, has carried out a work of verification and alignment of the library of cartographic symbols with consequent updating of the BDG elements.
The symbol library has undergone a complex reorganization and integration in consideration of the specific needs of cartographic representation.
The activity carried out by GLINT, published in dossiers I, II and III of the Quaderni, serie III, n. 12, is contained in the updated library of cartographic symbols aimed at the printing the CARG Project Sheets at the scale 1:50.000.
