Cartography of volcanic areas

This integration to the guidelines represented by the Quaderno, serie III, n. 1 of the National Geological Survey arises from the need to provide a more defined methodological approach to the geological mapping of volcanic soils, since the revision by the National Geological Survey (now ISPRA) of the geological sheets of new construction has revealed divergent interpretations in the application of these guidelines and that the cartographic experimentation made possible by the start of the CARG Project has now affected several types of volcanic apparatus.
